Pchum Ben time has rolled around again. It is a Khmer religious festival that sees everyone head home for a week of going to temples, drinking beer and dancing under neighbour’s houses. We decamped to mum’s house and spent several days going out to the farm. Perfect weather with mild cloud cover and breezes made the days very enjoyable. I spent the entire time working. Lawn was given a good trimming, banana’s cropped, lemongrass pulled out, frangipanis planted etc. The kids played football, Frisbee and mud monsters and the women cooked, drank ABC stout and slept.
We have called the farm Waratah as I am from NSW and the waratah is our state flower. That….and the Waratah’s are current Australian Rugby Champs ! GO THE TAHS!
Meanwhile back at the house our two remaining puppies Titan (m) and Sparkle ( F ) are growing bigger by the day and Sparkle opened her eyes today.Good times.
