I have blogged previously about the garden I am creating out front. Last weekend I re-potted the bougainvillea into larger pots and they are now absolutely thriving. This weekend after a win at poker I couldn’t help myself and went out and bought some more bamboo, a bird of paradise for Veasna and a new pot, some fertiliser and some fresh soil for Jeff’s jasmine which I have taken a special shine to. This poor little mistreated plant started life as a hostess bar plant and copped all manner of abuse. It still had cigarette butts and beer bottle caps in it when I took it on and it is now thriving in it’s own little corner. I also potted the bamboo we bought for Phalla and Tra as a house warming because god knows when they are moving in to the new place ! Anyways, here are some up close shots I took yesterday. I really enjoy gardening in pots because you can move stuff around if it does not grow in a particular spot and it is a bit like a science experiment. So far, I seem to be getting it right.
