The Phnom Pen turns 40

At 20 I was trading futures for Merrill Lynch, partying like a madman and ..well..behaving like a 20 year old

At 30 I was working in the internet start-up game,partying like a madman and…well..behaving like a 20 year old.

At 35 I was working on an Oyster farm, hardly partying at all and behaving like a 50 year old.

Then at 38 I moved to Cambodia.

They say life begins at 40.This year I got married to my beautiful wife and had my beautiful daughter. We bought blocks of land in Kep and work is cementing nicely. I guess it’s true ! I am happier than I have ever been and look forward to a few cold beers tonight. Still misbehaving on occasion but hey, I ain’t dead yet !

Happy Birthday me.
